BUSTER
Buster left the Kanine Kids for Rainbow Bridge on November 21, 2006. He was a wonderful Omega boy, as sweet as they come! The picture below is one of Buster about a month before he left for Rainbow Bridge. He has a brain tumor.
Hello, my name is Buster and I am the newest of the Kanine Kids as of March 2002. I was a stray that was picked up by the humane society and was on their "Put to Sleep" list. Some nice people with Golden Retriever Rescue called Mom and Dad and asked if they could go "spring me" out of the shelter before my time was up.
I was only suppose to stay with Mom and Dad on a temporary basis!! However, once Mom got me home and discovered what a roaming instinct I had and how smart I was ( I can open gates by myself, you know!!), Mom decided that the best place for me was the big farm where they live now. I have 100 acres to roam around on and a really cool river to swim in. The river has lots of ducks and geese on it and I can swim all day trying to catch them!! Wa-hoo-o-o!! However, those ducks must be very smart because I never can catch any of them!! They just fly away!
Here is a pix of me all tired after swimming in the river!!
Looks like I will be spending lots of time with Mom and Dad and the Kanine Kids. Mom says I am turning her dyed hair grey (whatever that means)by taking off and not coming back when I am called. I really don't know what her problem is as I always show back up at the house sooner or later - depending on how many ducks need to be chased that day! On the other hand, Mom says I am a very good boy and that I know "sit", "down", and "speak". I love to snuggle in her lap at night but usually get pushed out by Woode (he's the top dog in the house).
Well, nice chatting with you but I better go chase some more ducks now (after my nap, of course)!!
I hope you will take a few minutes to visit my "brothers and sisters" on their Web pages.
