Bailey

 

 

 

 

Bailey is the latest addition to the Kanine Kids.  She joined the family in July 2010.  She is eleven years old and a very active, spry girl for her age.  We have nicknamed her the "Duchess" as she should be treated like royalty!  She came stay with us for 10 days while her family was out of town.  Due to family circumstances, her previous owners thought it would be best if she stayed with us permanently at the "retirement home for dogs".  She fit in so well with all the other dogs that we agreed!  She loves to chase jack rabbits and sleep by the computer while I work.  But the Duchess has one minor fault - she snores!!  Oh, well, so do I!

 

 

 

Sadly, Bailey developed bone cancer at age 14 and departed for the Rainbow Bridge on July 15, 2013.  She was a wonderful dog and we miss her happy spirit around the house.
